Intense Pulsed Light is an invasive light used for large areas of hair reduction, skin rejuvenation, vascular, pigmentation, sun damage and acne.
Your skin type will determine how suitable IPL will be for you, but generally this is identified in a personal consultation as skin types vary greatly.
It is a system of intense exfoliation and resurfacing that rejuvenates the skin with ultra-fine crystals. This in turn removes dead skin cells, clogged pores and stimulates cellular regeneration. A treatment pack of 3-6 sessions, 1 to 2 weeks apart is recommended to achieve maximum results
Reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, improvement of the rate at which the skin absorbs moisturising and nourishing ingredients. Treatment of pigmentation disorders, age spots and sun damage and more even skin tone.
Debris removal and the drawing out of toxins are the primary benefits. You can also expect to see and feel:
- Improved texture and hydration
- Increased blood flow and cellular regeneration
- A greater reception to absorbing nourishing and hydrating products
- Increased lymph flow waste removal
- Relaxed nerve endings and suppleness
We recommend 4-6 weeks apart to avoid the build-up of oils, old makeup and airborne impurities such as pollution and particulate. Removing dead cells assists in cellular turnover, improved skin texture and nourishment to slow down the ageing process.
We will assess and analyse your particular skin and will recommend the most appropriate treatment and skincare for your skin type.
Fractional Radio frequency is a heat therapy treatment which stimulates the production of new collagen which equals plumper, firmer skin with a greater level of elasticity. Reduction in pores, overall skin rejuvenation, wrinkle reduction, improves scars, a wonderful anti-ageing treatment for all ages.
We recommend treatment every 2-4 weeks until results are achieved, thereafter a maintenance of 2 sessions per year.
Can this treatment interfere with injectables? No, injectables will not be effective negatively with the Fractional Radio Frequency treatment. You can just make sure that you give your face/treated area two weeks before/after the next treatment.
A peel can improve the skin’s appearance. There are varying strengths of peels ranging from a mild peel which will help to clean out your pores through to a high strength chemical peel which will shed one or more layers of skin. Skin peels are an effective solution to improve skin texture, exfoliate dead skin cells and refine open pores allowing you to achieve incredibly smooth and younger looking skin.
Body contouring using cavitation and radio frequency is a new, non-surgical fat removal procedure. Unlike a traditional tummy tuck or liposuction, in ultrasonic cavitation there are no knives, no anaesthesia and no surgery.
This treatment uses two types of technology:
- Ultrasound Technologywhich destroys intractable fat cells, using low frequency sound waves without causing damage to any other tissues or organs. Once the fat cell membrane (adipose tissue) is destroyed, the fat is discharged between the cells where they are turned into protein and then changed to free fatty acids and glycerol. Free fatty acids are moved to the liver where they decay and are removed from the body.
- Radio Frequency Technologyto lift and tighten the skin. The frequency penetrates the epidermis and heats the dermis. In response the collagen, fibres begin contracting and remodelling, effectively thickening and leading to immediate results. Additional collagen fibres synthesis occurs due to the healing process of the skin, induced by the heat. Over time this will continue, gradually improving the quality of your skin and a decrease in deep wrinkles.
